For 1.5 dsp, it offers 2 mono-to-stereo channels (modulated), 4 mono and 10 stereo channels, 2 aux, and more.
NB: This device is not a new release, but a website update (there was no info about MixSat C2 on this site).
The updated version (or version "B") can be found only in the BlackBox II Repack under the name "MixSatC2.dev" (there is no "B" in the name, because the update is meant to replace the previous version in all projects).
Number of Channels: MixSat C2 includes 10 stereo tracks, 4 mono tracks and 2 modulated channels that can be either 1 stereo or 2 mono channels. Therefore you have, by default, a mixer that is a 10 or 11 stereo channels and 6 or 4 mono channels respectively. Moreover, you can add a "S2M" insert in a stereo channel to transform it into a 2 mono tracks, for a maximum of 26 mono channels.
Full midi hardware integration: MixSat C2 was made to allow the permanent connection of a remote controller that will be available as soon as scope is started for all Midi CC and wihout the usual bugs. Midi controller assignments are all restored when you load a preset or a project. If you load a project, you do not even need to load a midi preset or to reactivate a midi controller number because this kind of behavior has been specially chased and eliminated. MixSatC2 will react as if it was a real piece of hardware, as soon as you start Scope. You can also assign drop list entries, multiple source selectors:, page selectors: they are not only midi-controllable, but they are made to have the Midi CC reloadable without the usual need to reactivate some controls: all will be available just like you left them.
New in MixSatC2 Update: MixSatC2 has taken advantage of the latest technology implemented in the FP and Valve mixers, and it now includes 2 midi channels: 1 for the main surface panel, and another that goes to the insert effects only. Therefore, the same preset can be used to control equalizers and other inserts. This gives 2 sets of 119 midi CC (=238 CC) to map on the mixers.
Easy recording and soloing: MixSatC2 does not include a full solo function but allows to solo channels in various ways. The "Rec Out" channel is a big switch that allows to isolate a channel and send it to the record outputs. Used for recording, it can also be used as a solo channell by connecting a BlackBox switch
